SESSION 5 SUMMARY

Integrated testing strategies (ITS) are ways to efficiently summarize and translate different types of information to serve a specific purpose. ITS can be used for prioritization, for hazard characterization or to support decision making in safety assessment.

Depending on the foreseen use of the ITS, the pieces of information can be generated in a tiered fashion (mainly when prioritizing) or all at once when a weight of evidence approach is needed to support decision making.

This session will feature practical applications of ITS in different areas.”
