Refund Policy

OpenTox Association — Refund & Cancellation Policy

Thank you for participating in the OpenTox Association community. Because our offerings consist of digital products, non-profit memberships, and live virtual educational events, our refund guidelines are structured as follows:

1. Memberships

  • Annual Membership Fees: All OpenTox Association annual membership registrations and manual renewals are considered final.
  • Refund Availability: No refunds or partial pro-rated credits will be issued once a membership period has commenced and digital access to the member library has been granted.

2. Webinars & Virtual Trainings

  • Cancellations by Participant:
    • Cancellation requests submitted more than 14 days prior to the scheduled webinar/training event will receive a 100% refund, minus any processing transaction fees incurred.
    • Cancellation requests submitted between 7 to 14 days prior to the event will receive a 50% refund.
    • No refunds will be provided for cancellations made less than 7 days before the event, or for "no-shows" on the live broadcast date.
  • Substitutions: If you cannot attend a training session, you may transfer your registration seat to a colleague at no additional cost by contacting our support team at least 48 hours beforehand.

3. Event Cancellation by OpenTox

  • If a webinar, Summer School, or professional training course is cancelled or indefinitely postponed by the OpenTox Association due to unforeseen logistical issues, registered participants will be notified immediately.
  • Under these circumstances, a 100% full refund will be automatically returned to the participant's original payment method within 5 to 7 business days.

4. Currency and Processing

  • All membership fees and registrations are processed securely in Euro (EUR) (or change to your chosen currency).
  • Approved refunds can only be issued back to the exact credit card or payment instrument used during the original checkout transaction.
